Japan Radio & Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd. was established as a joint-stock company.
Construction of the Izaki plant was completed. -
1957
A branch office was established in Tokyo.

1962
Construction of the head office building in Higashiyamato-machi was completed.

1963
The company was reorganized, changing from a joint-stock company into a joint-stock corporation.

1968
Construction of the 1st North Plant was completed.
An engine monitor was developed. -
1973
Construction of the 1st South Plant was completed.
A new generator controller model was developed. -
1976
The SMS-2 CRT-type engine monitor was developed.

1977
Construction of the Engineering Building was completed.
The JACOM-2000 Generator Controller was developed. -
1981
Construction of the first stage of the Toyoura Plant was completed.
Construction of the Tokyo Office building was completed.
Switchboards, Starter Panels, and controlled monitoring equipment were delivered to an LNG vessel. -
1982
Construction of the Technical Center Building was completed.

“JRCS Corporation” was established as a sales company.
SMS-11 (“SEA-ACE”), an Alarm & Monitoring System for marine use, was developed. -
1985
Construction of the second stage of the Toyoura Plant was completed.
A multifunctional graphic terminal was developed. -
1989
A 32-bit Intelligent Monitoring & Control System was developed.

1992
SMS-22, the world’s first Engine Alarm & Monitoring System to feature a full-color LCD, was developed.

1995
An overseas liaison office was established in England.

1996
SMS-32, a 32-bit Engine Alarm & Monitoring System, was developed.
JACOM-21, a 16-bit generator controller, was developed. -
1998
The international quality assurance standard ISO-9001 was acquired.

1999
JACOM-22, a fully-distributed Intelligent Generator Plant Control & Monitoring System, was developed.

2001
SMS-32-K, an Integrated Automation System (IAS) with a high-caliber LCD display, was developed.

2002
Cutting-edge technology was used to develop JSB2, a high voltage switchboard.
JRCS became the first company in the world to supply electrical components to an LNG vessel as a single-source supplier. -
2004
JRCS began developing the first cold ironing system for large-scale container vessels in Japan. This system provides shore power to docked vessels, reducing pollution.

2005
“JRCS Corporation” was changed to “JRCS MFG. CO.,LTD” and the logo was revised.
Our JSB-2L Low Voltage Switchboard, JGP-21 Starter Panel, and NSU unit were developed. -
2006
The Early Fire Warning System J-S/Eye and Battery Deterioration Detection System J-S/Lif were released.
The JSB-5 12kV High Voltage Switchboard was developed.
High Voltage Switchboard Training and High Voltage Switchboard (JSB-2) Simulator compliant with the STCW treaty was the first in Japan to gain approval from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK).
JRCS wins the Future Generation Company Award from the Japan Creation of Future Generation Governors’ Alliance.
Tokyo headquarters was relocated. -
2007
JRCS Euro Marine Service B.V. was established in Rotterdam, Netherlands as a local subsidiary. The Tokyo Head Office was relocated to Shinbashi.

2008
“Sea Otter Land,” an on-site day-care center for the children of employees, was opened.
JRCS was recognized as one of 300 “vibrant small- or medium-sized manufacturers” by Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. -
2009
JRCS Engineering Singapore Pte. Ltd. was established in Singapore as a local subsidiary.

2011
Japan Radio & Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd. was merged with JRCS Corporation to form a new company called JRCS MFG. CO.,LTD.
JRCS (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd. was established in Shanghai, China as a local subsidiary. -
2012
J/S-Net, our Ship’s Smart Network System, was released.
Ishikawa Iron Works, Co. Ltd. and Kitakyushu Electric Works. Co. Ltd. joined the JRCS Group. -
2013
The SMS-55 Alarm Monitoring & Control System was developed.
JRCS Australia Pty. Ltd. was established in Australia as a local subsidiary.
The J-S/Eco Series Energy Saving Equipment was released. -
2014
The Tokyo branch office was promoted to Tokyo Headquarters.
A two headquarter system was introduced Shimonoseki and Tokyo.
A Japanese restaurant EDOSEI was opened in Perth Australia. -
2016

Low Voltage Switchboard, Starter Panel and Engine Control Console Training compliant with the STCW treaty was first in Japan to gain approval from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK).
Developed in joint collaboration with the National Fisheries University a Water Mixed Fuel Generator was released.
LED Navigation Light Indicator Panel (AC version) was released.
The Netherlands office was relocated to Amsterdam.
The acquisition of a sensor and piezoelectric business from Kuramoto Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (based in Kurihara city Miyagi Prefecture)
Hanaizumi office (Ichinoseki city, Iwate prefecture) established as a new domestic base.
High-voltage switchboard training (management courses) conforming to the STCW treaty acquired the certification of the Japan Maritime Association (NK).
A system that allows “multiple employment” has started.
Nordic Sleep Japan Co., Ltd. has been established to import and sell bedding products manufactured in Denmark.
JRCS FOOD & BEVERAGE Co., Ltd. has been established and Australian wine dining “64 Barrack st.” opened in Tokyo.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry selected JRCS as a “Regional Future Driving Company”. -
2018

2019
The "JPES-01", an electronic stethoscope utilizing an organic piezoelectric film known as "Flezo Film" for the audio part was released.
The STCW Convention-based training program using XR technology called “INFINITY Training" was released.
The company name in English was changed to JRCS Co. Ltd. and the former production plant at Toyoura, Toyoura Plant was changed to JRCS Toyoura, Shimonoseki Head Office to JRCS Shimonoseki (headquarters), Tokyo Head Office to JRCS Tokyo (headquarters), Hanaizumi Office to JRCS Hanaizumi.
The name of the daycare center at Toyoura was changed to "Kikuho Land".
The sponsored "AFRICA DREAM SOCCER TOUR" was adopted as a CSR activity.
The JRCS official mascot character “Kikuho '' was ranked 63rd in “Yuru Chara Grand Prix 2019".
A collaboration with the Hankyu Ferry Co., Ltd. was formed for the promotion of DX shipping and marine industries.
An ultrasonic generator prototyped jointly with Tohoku Gakuin University was selected for the “2019 Top 10 Agriculture and Forestry Technology News ''. -
