- Automation Systems
JACOM-55 is a fully distributed power management system for generators. A large 5-inch LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is used as standard for improved visibility and operability.
The generator control and engine protection functions are handled separately by two independent CPUs. The communication lines between each unit are redundant as standard, to further enhance system reliability. In addition, a connection to the vessel’s master clock allows synchronized display of the ship's time and event logs. -

Engine Control Console
- Products
- Automation Systems
The Engine Control Console (ECC) contains devices which allow for the remote control and monitoring of main equipment.
While the ECC’s main role is to control and monitor the main and auxiliary engines (and their related equipment), it also equipped with devices which allow for telephone conversation, remote monitoring of alarms, alerting the crew in the event of an emergency, and many other functions which are necessary for safe and smooth navigation.
The ECC contains its own Alarm, Monitoring and Control System (AMS, AMCS). Various kinds of sensors within the vessel constantly feed information on the main engine, generator, and auxiliary equipment status to the ECC. This information can be viewed easily on the console’s Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and used to control the vessel as necessary.
The LCD also provides full remote start/stop control of the main engine, generators, and auxiliary equipment, making operation simple and hassle-free for the crew. -
Cargo Control Console

The Cargo Control Console (CCC) is designed first and foremost to provide efficient monitoring and secure control of every kind of cargo, including specialized cargo carried by Very Large Crude Oil Carriers (VLCC) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) carriers.
Various graphic panels installed in the console provide all of the information which the crew needs during cargo handling. The Alarm, Monitoring and Control System (AMS, AMCS) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) enables the crew to precisely monitor and control the system down to the smallest pump and valve.
The AMS LCD also shows information received from various kinds of sensors installed onboard. -
Medium Voltage Main Switchboard
- Products
- Power Management Systems
The metal-enclosed JSB-2 Medium Voltage Main Switchboard (MVMSB) features a compact, robust structure which has been specifically designed to withstand the harsh operating conditions aboard a marine vessel.
Each internal compartment is separated from the others by metal plates, minimizing damage from accidents and enabling independent operation of the various parts. To ensure compliance with the highest safety and reliability standards, an International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 62271-200 interlock system which can be operated quickly and easily from the front of the panel is provided as a standard feature.
JSB-2 has passed the strictest IEC tests, including the internal arc fault test. In addition, it has received approval from multiple marine classification societies worldwide. -
Group Starter Panel
- Products
- Power Management Systems
The JGP-21 Group Starter Panel (GSP) is composed of multiple NSU starter units equipped with CPUs which are specifically designed to handle marine control sequences. Motors can be controlled and monitored using the operation panels. These panels are among the smallest in the world, offering superior operability and maintainability in a compact package.
Circuit simplicity and interrupting performance has been greatly improved thanks to the Manual Motor Starter (MMS) units which combine a circuit breaker with overload protection. These improvements make the GSP more reliable than ever before. Each MMS can support motors of up to AC 450 V 37 kW, with an interrupting performance of AC 450 V 35 kA.
By combining a high-performance NSU and MMS, we were able to reduce the standard unit width to just 300 mm, making our products some of the smallest in the industry.
Thanks to its small size, the JGP-21 can be used in even smaller vessels without sacrificing the high maintainability and operability you have come to expect from a JRCS product. -
Low Voltage Main Switchboard
- Products
- Power Management Systems
The JSB-2L Low Voltage Main Switchboard (LVMSB) features generator panels which are 33% smaller in width than their predecessors while retaining the high level of performance and reliability that has made the series so popular among customers worldwide.
The cable connections and maintenance procedures have not changed even though the product itself is 1/3 smaller.
To achieve such a small size, the individual generator panels had to be redesigned from the ground up hand-in-hand with the Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) manufacturer. Together we took a step-by-step approach, examining every aspect of the design from top to bottom. Including the improved ACB cradle, the new design represents the latest in miniaturization technology. -
High Voltage Shore Connection System
- Products
- Power Management Systems
Our High Voltage Shore Connection System allows for a dramatic reduction in pollution by connecting a docked vessel to the shore’s power supply. Thanks to this connection, the vessel can reduce the amount of pollution that would normally be caused by the onboard power generation system. Fully compliant with IEC/ISO/IEEE80005-1 international standards, the entire system is housed in a 40-foot container equipped with everything necessary for the connection, including cable reels, a high-voltage switchboard, and ship-side connection cables. It can be adapted not only for in-service ships, but also for existing vessels regardless of the type of vessel.

J-S/Net is a registered trademark of JRCS. -
J-S/Eco (JRCS Smart Eco System)
- Products
- JRCS Smart Series
J-S/Eco is a cooling sea water inverter drive system which eliminates wasted energy by preventing the cooling sea water pumps from working harder than necessary.
After the appropriate temperature valve opening degree is set based on the main engine load and other factors, J-S/Eco adjusts the cooling pump’s motor frequency to ensure that the pumps feed the heat exchangers the correct amount of cooled water to maintain the set opening degree.
Standard pumps are run at 100% frequency, but this results in wasted energy because the sea water is almost never hot enough to merit such costly operation. J-S/Eco prevents this waste and saves you money by running the pumps at the most appropriate speed, ensuring that the pump output is never more than the system actually needs.
J-S/Eco is a registered trademark of JRCS. -
J-S/Eye (JRCS Smart Eye System)
- Products
- JRCS Smart Series
J-S/Eye is an early-warning system which uses a series of high-precision cameras installed in a vessel’s engine room to detect propulsion system/generator fuel oil leaks, smoke, and other abnormal conditions which could lead to a fire or other serious disaster. Upon detection, the system alerts the crew, who can then take the necessary preventative action.
While previous systems are only able to detect a disaster once it happens, J-S/Eye’s series of high-precision cameras allow it to detect the first signs of trouble, enabling the crew to take action to prevent the disaster from happening altogether. -
