Protagonists of the Reiwa era make an entry!
It is Monday, the 1st of April and in the chill of the morning the final entrance ceremony of the Heisei era is taking place. The new employees, standing firmly as not to tremble listen to the president and CEO Koichiro Kondo as his warm words of encouragement create a smile that is taken into the hall.
As a new generation giving support to senior employees at this time of the opening of a new era of grace, the freshmen showed their determination by announcing “I am happy to be joining such an historic company”. “I am determined to act responsibly as a member of society” together with “I will try to challenge without the fear of failure”.
Felicitations from President Kondo
Congratulations on joining the company.
Every day, here at JRCS we all dress casually so the fact that I am wearing a suit makes me feel nervous. However, I intend to make this ceremony fun and memorable.
You are all the last to join in the Heisei era. In an hour from now the government will announce the name of the new era which commences on the 1st of May. Under these auspicious circumstances I am very happy to welcome seven new employees.
From today there are three things I ask of you as members of JRCS.
1.Think for yourself
2.Draw your own conclusions
3.Do it yourself
To become a member of society is, to put it simply, about amateurs becoming professionals. Up to now you have been supported by your surroundings but now you have to earn your own salary. This means thinking and acting with your own mind and taking the responsibility for the results of doing that. As you work and undertake training, I want you to keep this in mind.
With that, JRCS is a company where team work is valued. There is nothing that can be done alone and the style of JRCS teamwork results in creating a smile on the face of our customers. The phrase “fate community” is often used as we share our destiny. We are crew on the same vessel, as we exert our strength as early as this first day as we sail together on the good ship “JRCS” to our destination.
Warmth in the words of President Kondo
A firm handshake for each crew member of our ship
Take a giant leap and contribute to society
