Kikuho takes part in the “Chofu Enterprise Festa”
Kikuho appeared at The Chofu Enterprise Festa for the promotion of products and services of Shimonoseki city’s Chofu district, which was held at the Shimonoseki Boat Race Stadium on October 5-6.
At the venue there were instant sales of agricultural products and the events were enjoyed by parents and children alike. Approximately 33,000 people visited over the two days.
Kikuho was greeted by “Sea Bo” the Shimonoseki Boat Race character. Kikuho along with “Karatto-kun” the character from Karatto Yokocho and other famous characters from the city, welcomed visitors at the entrance gate and performed at the venue.
When the nursery school children, whom we had visited as part of our CSR activities, saw Kikuho they rushed forward calling out “Oh, Kikuho-Chan!”. Remembering the picture-story show, there was a child who told the nearby staff that a friend had been given the same heart-shape that’s on “Kikuho-Chan’s cheek.”
This was a happy “reunion”, lots of photos were taken, and Kikuho had a taste of stardom. We will keep local people happy in the future and work hard to spread smiles. If you see us at some event, please call out.
