JRCS’s first exhibition at “Bariship 2023” was a great success!
Bariship is the largest maritime exhibition in western Japan, and was recently held in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, for three days from May 25 to 27, 2023. The exhibition was held at Texport Imabari, a 3,500m² venue.
More than 350 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors participated over the span of three days. Industries and organizations from 15 different countries and regions exhibited, their fields of expertise included shipping, ship building, ship parts and classification societies, among others.
In addition to introducing our switchboards and monitoring systems at our booth, we also exhibited our digital product infoceanus, an application series that reduces the workload of seafarers and supports safe vessel operations. Despite it being our first time to exhibit at Bariship, many visitors came to our booth to chat with us and to see a demonstration of our digital solutions.
On the final day, the exhibition was open to the public, and many local people including families and students visited our booth. Our mascot Kikuho especially got a lot of attention. We gave away five large Kikuho dolls that children won from a raffle drawing that we prepared. The kids were delighted, and it was a great opportunity for us to interact with them.
