Kikuho, the symbolic character of “listening” participated in crime prevention class!
Kikuho participated in the “Crime Prevention Class” held at Murotsu Elementary School near JRCS Toyoura Office.
Kikuho, an owl with large ears, eyes, and a heart charm point, is a symbol of “listening,” which was made to create a corporate culture at JRCS of listening to the opinions of our colleagues. Kikuho’s activities are not limited to within the company; he also goes to nursery schools and community events in the city to convey the importance of listening to others.
This time, the organizers wanted the children to listen carefully to a police officer, so that they can acquire a solid knowledge of crime prevention. Kikuho, an evangelist of “listening,” successfully conveyed the importance of listening through picture-story shows, quizzes, and songs.
The children promised, “I will continue to listen carefully to my friends.” This was a good opportunity for us adults to reaffirm the importance of listening.
