JRCS exhibited at the work experience event for junior and high school students!
At the beginning of August, we exhibited a booth at the Shimonoseki Future Creation job fair.
The job fair is a work experience event where companies in Shimonoseki city introduce their jobs to junior and high school students. Our booth was visited by about 300 students over the two days. The students were challenged to try our manufacturing process “wiring work”. As the event was in the form of a time race, the children were enthusiastically connecting the wires.
Before the wiring experience, the children watched a movie introducing JRCS, which was hand-made by the public relations department. In addition to the manufacturing process, the movie explained how our products are actually used on board.
The children were surprised to see the engine control room, which they do not normally see, and were amazed to find such a place at the bottom of the ship.
JRCS will continue to convey the appeal of the work involved in the maritime transportation. Thank you very much to “Hankyu Ferry” for their cooperation in filming the ship.
A first-hand kit created by the head of the production department! A buzzer sounds when connected correctly.
The wiring experience was so popular that the waiting line was filled.
Talking with children about the work of JRCS
Before the wiring experience, the students were given some background knowledge by watching a company introduction movie.
