Participated in “Zero Marine Garbage Week” and cleaned up the beach!

JRCS participated in “Marine Garbage Zero Week” organized by the Nippon Foundation and the Ministry of the Environment. This is a simultaneous action taken throughout Japan to reduce marine wastes. We participated in a cleanup of the Ayaragi Beach in Shimonoseki City.

Since it was the morning after the strong winds blew, the garbage on the beach was washed away by the waves, giving the impression that there was less garbage than usual. Even so, we collected 30 70-liter garbage bags worth of tree branches and plastic waste, and we are happy to have contributed in our own small ways.

As a company involved in the ocean, we will continue our activities to protect its abundance.
