Participated in the Setouchi Blue Project 2024!
As a company involved in the ocean, JRCS participated in the Setouchi Blue Project 2024, which aims to clean up the world’s oceans. The event was held around Tokuyama Station in Yamaguchi Prefecture, where we exhibited a booth and interacted with local citizens through quizzes and games.
One of the project members, Junna Watanabe, is a windsurfer who trains in Yamaguchi Prefecture and is aiming to compete in the Olympics. At the event, she encouraged visitors to write “environmental messages” on the discarded sails. She plans to run the sails at sea at a later date to produce an environmental awareness video about Yamaguchi Prefecture’s oceans.
