Junna Watanabe, a JRCS sponsor windsurfer, visited JRCS!
Junna Watanabe, a windsurfing player sponsored by JRCS, visited Toyoura Office for the first time. She viewed the manufacturing process of JRCS main products, switchboards and monitoring panels for marine vessels. She also had a chance to meet with JRCS employees working in the office and children at the nursery.
JRCS will continuously support Ms. Watanabe, who is taking on challenges in the world’s oceans, to spread the importance of protecting the richness of the oceans.
She is from Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. She usually trains in the ocean in Shimonoseki City, where JRCS is located, in addition to Hikari City and Hagi City in Yamaguchi Prefecture. She sometimes travels as far as Fukuoka in search of waves and winds suitable for training.
She is now working on “IQ Foil,” which became an official sport at the Paris Olympics. Because the foil is attached to the bottom of the board, the use of the body and the appropriate body weight are very different from those in the past. Although she often struggles, she keeps a bright smile on her face, and the employees encouraged her to keep up the good work!
JRCS will continuously support Ms. Watanabe, who is taking on challenges in the world’s oceans, to spread the importance of protecting the richness of the oceans.
