Support Termination

We would like to express our sincere appreciation for your continued support of our products.
The Mitsubishi Electric low-voltage air circuit breaker model “AE-SH” (hereinafter referred to as “the ACB”), which has been used in our main switchboards and other products, has been supported through repair and maintenance services following its discontinuation. However, we regret to inform you that support for the ACB will be terminated as outlined below. We kindly ask for your understanding and consideration.

2.    Support Termination Date by Mitsubishi Electric

December 31, 2027

3.    Future Support Details

• ・Mitsubishi Electric will continue to provide inspection and repair services until the above support termination date. However, please note that repairs may not be possible once maintenance parts are out of stock.
• ・Even within the support period, if repairs cannot be carried out, we will propose appropriate replacement options based on the short-circuit current rating of the air circuit breaker installed on your vessel.
  　
  Examples:
  If the short-circuit current rating of the circuit currently using the Mitsubishi Electric AE-SH model is:
  1．85kA rms or less → Replace with Mitsubishi Electric AE-SW model
  2．100kA rms or less → Replace with Terasaki Electric AR model
  3．Over 100kA rms → Replace with Schneider Electric MasterPact MTZ series

In such cases above, additional work such as modifications to connection busbars and panel surfaces and control circuit changes will be required. The duration and cost of this work will vary depending on the structure of the existing switchboard.
