Participated in “Shimonoseki Future Creation Job Fair” – A Career Experience Event for Junior and Senior High School Students
JRCS participated in the “Shimonoseki Future Creation Job Fair”!
This job fair is a career experience event for junior and senior high school students, organized by Shimonoseki city. Held at the Kaikyō Messe Shimonoseki, the venue brought together 47 companies and organizations from across the city. Each exhibitor showcased the appeal of their company and work through creative presentations aimed at inspiring the students.
At the JRCS booth, students watched a company introduction video and answered quizzes, and also experienced part of our product manufacturing process using a specially designed kit. Many students who tried the hands-on activity commented such as, “I never realized there were jobs like this in the world of ships,” and “I’m surprised such a large company exists in Shimonoseki.” These reactions gave us a strong sense that the event had brought the world of ships and JRCS closer to students.
We would like to thank all the junior and senior high school students who visited our booth. JRCS will continue to promote the appeal of maritime and ship-related careers through various opportunities.
The experience kit was created for children by the head of our production department.
