Participated in “Zero Marine Garbage Week” and cleaned up the beach!

Zero Marine Garbage Week, organized by the Nippon Foundation and the Ministry of the Environment, is a nationwide initiative aimed at reducing marine wastes through coordinated cleanup activities across Japan. JRCS supports this initiative and regularly conducts beach cleanups at Ayaragi Beach in Shimonoseki City.

In October, JRCS employees and their families participated as volunteers in a cleanup event. Collaborating with the local neighborhood association, junior high school students, and surfers who were enjoying the early morning waves, they collected driftwood, plastic waste, and other debris scattered along the shore. Approximately 30 bags of trash (70 liters each) were gathered during the activity.

As a company closely connected to the sea, JRCS remains committed to actively protecting and preserving the richness of our marine environment.

As a symbol of our support for “Zero Marine Garbage Week,” we participated in the cleanup wearing blue items.
