Termination of Production for Terasaki Electric Low-Voltage Circuit Breakers: AME, E50-SF, E100-SF, and E50-CM

We appreciate your continued support of our products.
We would like to inform you that the Terasaki Electric low-voltage circuit breakers AME, E50 SF, E100 SF, and E50 CM (hereinafter referred to as “the circuit breakers”), which have been used in our main switchboards, were discontinued in 2023 due to the discontinuation of key electronic components and revisions to the IEC standards.
Please be advised of the following details, and we appreciate your understanding.

1. Applicable Circuit Breaker Models
AME3B、AME4B、AME6B、AME8B、AME10B、E50-SF、E100-SF、E50-CM
2. General Maintenance
  • The circuit breakers will be gradually replaced with the manufacturer’s recommended successor models.

  • Terasaki Electric (Teratec) inspections and repairs may be discontinued without prior notice once the stock of maintenance parts has been depleted.
*Updated October 23, 2025: Due to a shortage of replacement parts for the AME-type ACB, repair services have been discontinued. Please note that while inspection and other maintenance services will continue, we will be unable to perform repairs even if issues are discovered during inspection.

  • If repair is not possible, replacement with a successor model will be performed as described above. This will require additional work such as modifying copper bars, panel surfaces, and control circuits. Work time and costs will vary depending on the existing switchboard’s structure.
