JRCS Welcomed Junior High School Students Through Yamaguchi’s “Glocal Job Travel” Program
JRCS participated as a host company on the Shimonoseki course of the “Glocal Job Travel” bus tour, a corporate visit program for junior high school students organized by Yamaguchi Prefecture.
By visiting local companies and tourist attractions, students gained a deeper understanding of their community and strengthened their connection to the region. The program aims to encourage future employment within Yamaguchi Prefecture.
At JRCS Toyoura, students toured the production site through an interactive quiz-based program, learning about the manufacturing process in an engaging and enjoyable way.
They also experienced “infoceanus assist”, JRCS’s remote troubleshooting application for vessels, and gained firsthand insight into how digital technologies support the maritime industry.
At the end of the tour, students took part in a workshop where they were invited to create a catchphrase for JRCS. One of the ideas that emerged was “JRCS: Supporting Our Daily Lives.” The catchphrase reflected the students’ understanding of how JRCS technologies contribute to the safety, security, and reliability of society.
We hope this experience helped students discover new possibilities for their future and develop a deeper connection to their local community.
