JRCS Signs Partnership Agreement with ABB for “System pro E power” Compliant with Latest IEC 61439 Standards

JRCS Co.Ltd. (Head Office: Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture; Chairman and President: Koichiro Kondo) and ABB K.K. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President Representative Director: Loïc Pecondon-Lacroix) have entered into a partnership agreement for System pro E power, compliant with IEC 61439-1/2, in the Japanese market for switchboards and distribution boards that conform to IEC standards and Japanese regulations by providing ABB’s low voltage power distribution components and licenses. To expand and deepen the business collaboration, the two companies signed a partnership agreement on Friday, December 12, 2025, at The Peninsula Tokyo.

By entering into this agreement, we will be able to meet the growing demand in Japan for switchboards and distribution boards that comply with IEC and other international standards, as well as Japanese specifications for higher capacity and enhanced visibility – driven by the increasing construction needs of key growth industries such as semiconductor plants and data centers. Furthermore, through JRCS and two other partner companies, we will provide flexible solutions tailored to the unique requirements of the Japanese market, delivering switchboards of the same high quality as ABB products.

Leveraging the expertise JRCS has cultivated over the years in the development, design, manufacturing, and after-sales service of switchboards and control equipment for the marine industry, we will extend this experience to a wide range of land-based industries. Through this approach, JRCS is committed to delivering the best solutions that satisfy the diverse needs of the customers.
