JRCS Co.Ltd. (Head Office: Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture; Chairman and President: Koichiro Kondo) has developed “SMS-Nexus”, a new Unified Control & Alarm Monitoring System, as the latest addition to its core lineup of marine engine control systems. At SEA JAPAN 2026, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 22 to 24, 2026, JRCS will showcase the concept and a demonstration of “SMS-Nexus”.

In the maritime industry today, the shift toward next generation fuels to achieve decarbonization, the need to reduce environmental impact, and the growing demand for automation and digital transformation (DX) technologies to improve operational efficiency are driving requirements for shipboard systems to become more advanced and diverse than ever before.

To meet the increasingly diverse and sophisticated needs of the industry under these circumstances, JRCS has developed a unified system that delivers a “new experiential value” by significantly expanding the functions of its conventional control and alarm monitoring systems and leveraging the technologies cultivated through the development of its digital product “infoceanus”. This new system seamlessly connects ship and shore, providing enhanced capabilities built on our established system foundation.

As for the upcoming schedule, JRCS will unveil the product concept at SEA JAPAN 2026 and is preparing for the official product release in October 2026.
